Clare Fraser of Fraser Consulting has worked in the field of equality and diversity for over ten years. She became a freelance consultant in 2006, and since then, has advised public sector organisations on equality and diversity, including conducting equality impact assessments, drafting equality schemes and designing and delivering equality and diversity training.

Clare had previously worked with a global HR consultancy, where she specialised in equal pay. She worked with major public sector organisations, including universities, local authorities and the NHS, in implementing pay modernisation. She has extensive experience in job evaluation, and has advised on eliminating equal pay bias in the implementation, and ongoing process of, job evaluation, including reviewing job families and pay and grading structures for bias.

She originally practiced employment law at one of Scotland's leading law firms, where she acted for employers and employees in discrimination and equal pay cases, and advised on equality and diversity. She also lectured in an Employment Law Masters Course at one of Scotland's largest universities.

Clare has been invited to speak at nationwide conferences, including the Capita Disability Equality Conference. She is a member of Clydebank College’s Equality and Diversity Committee, and the Scottish Criminal Case Review Commission’s Equality User Group.
